The youth hostel is located next to Xanten South Lake, near the Archaeological Park.

• There are 66 rooms with 236 beds in total. These are twin, 4 and 5 bed rooms, all with shower and WC.
• Two rooms are equipped to be fully accessible.
• There are ten conference rooms.
  
• There is a conference room for up to 120 people.
• A bar and disco provide entertainment for guests.
• The hostel is equipped with audio-visual equipment.
• Programmes and courses such as water-sports, Roman history and nature are available.
• Membership cards are available in the hostel.

Today this 19th century former farmhouse is a self-catering property for up to 36 guests. It is situated in the village of Wardt.

• The house has several shared rooms, newly converted rooms for supervisors, sanitary facilities, recreation room, fully equipped kitchen, dining-hall and two lounges.
• Outside there is a barbecue, a volleyball pitch and basketball nets.
• Bread can be delivered, as can lunch, and fair trade products are available for sale.
• The house is let to only one group at a time.
