The heart of this dreamy little town is the imposing St. Victor's Cathedral, with its numerous works of art. It is surrounded by the cathedral close, a place where, even today, you can feel the presence of centuries of history. Here you'll find the de Pauw Obelisk, erected by Napoleon to honour the erudite canon Cornelis de Pauw.
You will stay in at a nice hotel. Its splendid cuisine has been appreciated by the likes of Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill.
